Backup CPU system

BACKUP CPU SYSTEM

General Description

The Backup CPU system has two MP cards (active/stand by) per system.
All of the office data is copied automatically from the active MP card to the stand by MP card at
a predetermined time once a day. According to the Emergency Notice (EMA) from the MP card,
the system execute changeover the active/stand by MP cards. You can also execute manual
changeover or manual office data copy from the active MP card to the stand by MP card.

Service Conditions

(1) Date and time must be set by CM02.
(2) The MP0 and MP1 cards must have the same configuration.
• When one MP card mounts the EXPMEM card, another MP card must mount the
EXPMEM card.
• The same type of Key FD data must be loaded to the MP0 and MP1 cards.
You must prepare two Key FDs per each Key FD function and load the Key FD data to
the MP0 and MP1 cards respectively.
(3) While operating the system, MP program downloading cannot be executed.
When you download the MP program, make the another MP card busy. And, you must use
the same program version in the MP0 and MP1 cards.
(4) While copying the office data from the active MP card to the stand by MP card, saving/
loading/verifying of the office data and the AP program downloading cannot be executed
from the MAT. An error message is indicated on the MAT.
(5) While saving/loading/verifying of the office data and executing the AP program download
from the MAT, the office data cannot be copied from the active MP card to the stand by MP
card.
When the automatic office data copy is assigned, it will be executed at the predetermined
time on next day. For manual office data copy, try it again after saving/loading/verifying/
downloading is completed.
