Measuring the rear wheel dimension unloaded

Checking the static sag of the shock absorber

Preparatory work
-
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.
Main work
-
Position the sag gage in the rear axle and measure the
distance to marking SAG on the rear fender.
Sag gauge (00029090500)
Sag gage pin (00029990010)
-
Note down the value as dimension 6).
Finishing work
-
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.
-
Measure dimension 6) of rear wheel unloaded.

Hold the motorcycle upright with the aid of an assistant.

Measure the distance again between the rear axle and mark-
ing SAG on the rear fender using the sag gage.

Note down the value as dimension
