Note: The need for braking capacity is addressed through a feature known as dual frequency braking.
This feature essentially creates a braking function by means of injecting a counter-rotating flux vector at
well beyond the slip of the machine. This generates additional losses in the motor. The injection
frequency is adjustable via a menu setting to allow critical frequencies (i.e. mechanical resonances) to be
avoided.
