Step Description

The battery is inserted in the front of the instrument.
1. Loosen the screws of the battery compartment.
2. Open the cover of the battery compartment.
3. With the Leica logo facing leftward, slide the battery into the battery
compartment and push so that it locks into position.
4. Close the cover of the battery compartment and tighten the screws.
5. To remove the battery, loosen the screws to open the cover of the battery
compartment.
6. Push the ledge on the right side of the battery compartment to the right
until it releases the battery from its fixed position.
7. Pull out the battery.
8. Close the cover of the battery compartment and tighten the screws.
