Cause
Processor is hot.
Processor is not seated
properly or not installed.
Cause
The CD-ROM or DVD boot is
not enabled through the
Computer Setup utility.
Non-bootable CD in drive.
Drive is not connected properly
or not properly configured.
Movie might be regionalized
for a different country.
Decoder software is not
installed.
Disc not properly seated in the
drive.
Solution

Be sure the airflow to the workstation is not
blocked.

Be sure the fans are connected and working
properly (some fans only operate when
needed).

Be sure the processor heatsink is installed
properly.

Check to see that the processor is present.

Reseat the processor.
Solution
Run the Computer Setup utility and enable
booting to removable media and verify boot
order settings.
Try a bootable CD in the drive.

Reconnect power and data cables to the
drive.

Install correct device driver.
Refer to the documentation that came with the
DVD drive.
Install decoder software.

Turn off the workstation and insert a thin
metal rod into the emergency eject hole and
push firmly.

Slowly pull the tray out from the drive until
the tray is fully extended, then remove
the disc.
