• Caution: To avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-off, this
spa must not be supplied through an external switching device (for example, a timer),
or be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off.
• The spa must be supplied through an isolating transformer or supplied through a
residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30mA.
• The pump must be tested before each use. Refer to the 'PRCD testing' section of this
user guide for instructions.
• If the power cord is damaged, stop use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for
assistance.
• Do not use extension cords, plug adaptors, or converter plugs to connect the spa to
the electrical supply.
• Ensure the power cord is directly connected only to a grounded power socket.
• Ensure the power cord is easily accessible.
• Components containing live parts (except parts supplied with a low voltage not
exceeding 12V) must be out of reach and inaccessible to people in the spa.
• Parts incorporating electrical components (except remote control devices) must be
located or fixed so that they cannot fall into the spa pool.
• Keep the plug of the pump more than 3.5 metres away from the spa at all times.
• The power source on the wall of the building should be at least 4 metres away from
the spa and at a height of at least 1.2 metres.
• Always unplug the spa:
o on rainy days
o before cleaning or other maintenance
o if leaving unattended for a long period (for example, going on holiday)
• When the spa will be not used for an extended period (for example, during winter), the
spa should be disassembled and stored indoors.
• Do not wear contact lenses when in the spa.
• Do not use skin care products or sunscreen while using the spa.
• Do not use the spa during chemical maintenance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must be performed by an adult above 18 years old
who understands the risk of electric shock.
• Do not bury the cord. Ensure the power cord is always visible to minimise damage
from hazards (for example, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, other equipment).
• If pregnant, soaking in hot water may result in serious injury or death to the unborn
child. Limit use to 10 minutes at a time and be conscious of temperature.
