PC Identification/Tattoo String

The very first time you start your PC, you can permanently 'tattoo' it
with a message of your choice. The message appears in the following
places:
The HP Summary Screen ("HP Summary Screen" on page 38)

In the PC Identification Control Panel
•
In the DMI Asset information Control Panel
•
To modify the tattoo string, open the General Information control
panel or the PC Identification Control Panel

PC Serial Number

The PC serial number appears in the HP Summary Screen ("HP
Summary Screen" on page 38) and in the Asset information Control
Panel . It cannot be modified.
