Adjusting Color Balance, Intensity and Brightness

You can enhance color printing by adjusting the color balance, intensity
(saturation) and brightness.
To adjust color settings:
1 Access printer driver
From an application F F i i l l e e menu, select P P r r i i n n t t .
With C C a a n n o o n n M M u u l l t t i i P P A A S S S S F F 5 5 0 0 P P r r i i n n t t e e r r as the selected printer, click P P r r o o p p e e r r t t i i e e s s .
The Properties window will open to the M M a a i i n n tab.
Adjust color settings

Under Color Adjustment, select M M a a n n u u a a l l ,
then click S S e e t t to open the M M a a n n u u a a l l C C o o l l o o r r
A A d d j j u u s s t t m m e e n n t t dialog box.
Click and drag the C C o o l l o o r r B B a a l l a a n n c c e e slide bar
for each color to adjust the color settings.
The results will preview.
Click and drag the I I n n t t e e n n s s i i t t y y slide bar to
change the intensity (saturation) for the
image. The results will preview.
To use I I m m a a g g e e C C o o l l o o r r M M a a n n a a g g e e m m e e n n t t ( ( I I C C M M ) ) , see below.
Under P P r r i i n n t t T T y y p p e e , select P P h h o o t t o o when printing photographs for a wider range
of tones, or G G r r a a p p h h i i c c when printing graphic images for crisper, cleaner
printing.
Select a B B r r i i g g h h t t n n e e s s s s setting to determine how light or dark the image will
appear when printed.
I I m m a a g g e e C C o o l l o o r r M M a a n n a a g g e e m m e e n n t t ( ( I I C C M M ) )
automatically adjusts image colors. To use
ICM, click the E E n n a a b b l l e e I I C C M M check box. All
other features on this tab (except intensity)
will become inactive.
When done, click O O K K .
