An image scanned with your F50 MFP can be saved, sent as a fax or email
attachment, printed or edited in an application such as OmniPage
There are two basic ways to obtain a scanned image:

Open an application that supports scanning, then open the scanning
software and perform the scan. The scanned image will automatically be
brought into the application.

Scan a document directly with the MultiPASS Suite (see "How to Use the
MultiPASS Toolbar" on page 5).

Scanning From the Automatic Document Feeder or
Platen Glass
The F50 MFP is factory set to scan from the Automatic Document Feeder. To scan
from the platen glass, change the scan source in the MultiPASS Toolbar
Settings.
To scan from platen glass:
Click the S S e e t t t t i i n n g g icon on the MultiPASS Toolbar.
Select T T o o o o l l b b a a r r S S e e t t t t i i n n g g s s tab.
Under I I m m a a g g e e s s o o u u r r c c e e , click the S S c c a a n n f f r r o o m m drop-down menu and select P P l l a a t t e e n n .
To scan again from the ADF, select D D o o c c u u m m e e n n t t F F e e e e d d e e r r under the S S c c a a n n f f r r o o m m drop-
down menu.
