Limitation
❒ You cannot use the following copy
paper with this function:
• A5K and 5
• Translucent paper
• Label paper (adhesive labels)
• OHP transparencies
• Postcards
❒ You cannot use the bypass tray
(option for Type1) with this func-
tion.
❒ When you set an odd number of
one-sided originals in the ADF, the
reverse side of the last page is left
blank.

One-sided to two-sided

This table shows the results that can
be achieved when making two-sided
copies from one-sided originals.

Note
❒ When you set an odd number of
one-sided originals, the setting for
printing the last page on the front
o r ba c k sid e o f p ap e r c an b e
changed if all pages of the received
documents are of the same size. To
change the setting, contact your
service representative.

Press the { { { { Copy} } } } key.
The Resolution automatically
changes to Super Fine.

Press the User Function key ( { { { { F1} } } }
to { { { { F10} } } } ) the Duplex function
programmed in.
Confirm that "1 Sided To 2 Sided"
is displayed.

Press the { { { { OK} } } } key.
D D D D
Place the originals in the ADF,
and then select any scan settings
as necessary.
E E E E
Press 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 to select the paper
tray and the paper size.
Note
❒ You need to select the paper
tray for which the Two-sided
Printing function is turned on.
