Overview

1.1 Introduction

The AMC-7000 is an Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) module
which provides embedded systems designers with an in-chassis
storage solution that utilizes a SATA hard drive. SATA technology
generally boasts the greatest reliability and performance needed
by mission critical enterprise applications. The Module is as sin-
gle-width AMC with mid-size panel and hard drive in 2.5" small
form factor, to provide the greatest spindle density for your ATCA
or MicroTCA application. The AMC-7000 also includes a modular
management controller (MMC).

1.2 Features

The AMC-7000 is a single-width mid-size AMC Module with the
following features:
Supports a single 2.5" SATA hard drive on Port 2
General Advanced Mezzanine Card Features
Ejector switches for hot swap
One Hot Swap LED
One Module Active (ACT) LED
