Mirror Function (Screencasting)

The mirror function of the console allows you to transfer the screen contents of your mobile device
to the display of the treadmill via WiFi.
There are two ways to start the mirror function:
3.5.1

Start Mirror Function via the Main Menu

When setting up your treadmill for the first time, perform the following steps (these are also shown
on the screencasting setup page).
1. Open the setup menu of the mirror function in the main menu
2. Now connect your mobile device (smartphone or tablet) to the displayed WiFi network of the
console, EZCAST.
3. When the connection has been established, you will be asked to call up a specific IP address in
the browser of your mobile device (e.g. Chrome, Opera, Safari or Firefox). This IP address consists
of four block of numbers with 1-3 digits, each separated by a dot. The network settings menu for
the treadmill is hidden behind this IP address.
4. In this menu, you can now add a network to the treadmill's console to which the console should
remain permanently connected so that the mirror function can be used. This network will usually
be your default home network.
5. Once you have successfully added the network and entered the password, if applicable, this will
also be indicated by a mark (tick) on the display of the treadmill.
6. Close the browser on your mobile device. You can now dial into another WiFi network again. To
use the mirror function, make sure the mobile device and the treadmill console are in the same
network.

If you have already connected your mobile device to the console, you only need to follow the
step below and do not need to follow all the steps again.
7. To mirror your display content from your mobile device to the display of the treadmill, select the
screen transfer app on your mobile device. Almost all current smartphone models have this app
pre-installed and can be selected at quick access. Depending on the manufacturer, the app may
have a different name, e.g. Smart View, Transfer Screen, EZCast, Streaming or Wireless Projection.

case of copyright-protected film material.
+ If you want to only stream audio files, you can also do this via the Bluetooth function.
Please note that you can pair either a Bluetooth chest strap or a mobile phone for sound
transmission.
