Updating Software

Software Update is a function that connects
to the network to check whether software
on needs to be updated, downloads

the software when required, and updates the
software.
Software can be updated via LTE/3G
connections or via Wi-Fi connections.
The NTT DOCOMO website provides
information about required software updates.
There are three methods of updating software:
Auto Automatically download the
Update: update ile and install it at a
preset time.
Immediate Perform an update immediately.
Update:
Scheduled Perform the update automatically
Update: at the scheduled time.
Note
• You can update software while still
retaining data (such as phonebook,
camera images, emails, downloaded data,
etc.) on this terminal. However, such
data may not be protected depending on
the state of your terminal (malfunction,
damage, exposure to water, etc.). It is
recommended to back up necessary
data. Please note that some data, such
as download data, cannot be backed up.
