4.3 Throttle

The throttle (hand lever) is located to the right of the operator's right leg when
seated in the machine. The throttle controls engine rpm.
Move the lever forward to increase engine RPM.
Move the lever rearward to decrease engine RPM.
Select a lower rpm for work that requires delicate operation of the machine.
Select a higher rpm for faster travel speed or when more power or flow is
required for a task.

4.4 Operator Seat

Seat Adjustment
The seat in the PT-60 is a sus-
pension style seat adjustable for
both operator weight (spring
pre-load) and operator height
variation in fore and aft direc-
tions.
To adjust for weight:
Pivot the weight adjustment
lever away from the seat. Twist
clockwise for heavier operator
or counter-clockwise for lighter
operator.
To adjust for height:
Lift upward on the height adjustment lever, slide the seat forward or rearward as
needed, then release the lever to set

4.5 Two Speed

The PT-60 is equipped with a two-speed drive system. Low range is best suited
to performing strenuous work or operating attachments. High range is intended
mainly for transporting.
To shift between high and low ranges, push the button on the front of the right
joystick. When shifting between ranges, slow the machine to ensure a smooth
transition. The high range indicator (item 17, section 4.1) illuminates to confirm
high range operation.
Note: If the machine is turned off, the lap bar is raised, or the operator exits the
seat, the machine automatically returns to low range.
