Setting the microscope
You can set the magnification of adapter lens, magnification of objective
and magnification of intermediate magnification changer that are
required for displaying the scale bar and measurement results in the
original size of the specimen.
When the control box (U-CBS, etc.) is connected, the setting

procedures will be different. See "Automatic scale bar change
(p.98)".

Select the [Acquisition] tab A .

If the setting items of [Microscope] are not displayed, press B to
open them.

Press the [Device Settings] button C . The [Device Settings] dialog box
opens, and [General] > [Nosepiece] is displayed.

Set [Magnification] D and [Refraction Index] E of the objective
attached to each nosepiece. (The number of [Position] fields displayed
in the dialog box differs depending on the nosepiece combined with
the microscope.)

Press the [OK] button to close the [Device Settings] dialog box. When
the message asking "Do you want to confirm the calibration?" appears,
press the [Yes] button. The [Calibrations] dialog box is displayed.

Select [Manual Magnification Calibration] F and press the [Edit] button
G . The [Manual Magnification Calibration] dialog box is displayed.
