Initial Settings
For proper operations, you must set the language and the scale magnification at first.
Set them according to the screen (Setup wizard) displayed when the power is turned ON for the first time.
The Setup wizard is displayed only when the power is turned ON for the first time, but you can also change

the settings later. For details, see this section.

Press the main switch A of DP2-AOU to turn ON the power. The
Setup wizard appears on the display.

Set the language according to the wizard. When the settings are
completed, DP2-AOU restarts.

In a same say, set the scale magnification (magnification of camera
adapter or objective you use).

TIP
· If the settings on the wizard are canceled in the middle, all
settings made so far are canceled.
· For setting the language, see p.83, and for setting the scale
magnification, see p.84.
· The date and time setting screen and the display resolution
setting screen are not displayed automatically. For setting
procedures, see "Setting the date and time (p.86)" and
"Setting display resolution (p.87)".
· You can acquire images without setting the date and time, but
we recommend you to set the date and time in advance to
save the file name of the acquired image with the correct date
and time.
· The display resolution can be set automatically, but it may not
be set automatically depending on the display you use. It is
recommended to set the display resolution in advance.
