Phenomena
Functions linked with
microscope are not working.
The automatic scale bar
change function does not
work.
When the main switch of
DP2-AOU is turned OFF,
various settings or the scale
function are returned to the
status before setting.
The USB devices are not
recognized.
The PC on the network is not
recognized.
Repair request
If the phenomena are not improved even after you took the above remedial action, contact Olympus.
Please provide us the following information at that time.
· Product name and abbreviated name (example: Control box DP2-AOU)
· Product number
The repair parts are kept for the period of five years after purchase.
As OS will be reinstalled during the repair, all data in DP2-AOU will be deleted. Be sure to make a backup of necessary
data in advance.
Cause
Cables are not connected properly. Connect cables of the microscope,
The control box (BX3-CBH, etc.) is
not recognized.
The objective magnification is not
specified. Or it is not set properly.
When turning OFF the main switch,
the system is shutdown forcibly (long-
press the main switch)
The USB devices are not
connected to DP2-AOU properly.
The dedicated device driver is not
installed.
The LAN cable is not connected
properly.
The network is not set properly.
DP23-AOU/DP28-AOU
Remedy
control box for microscope (BX3-CBH,
etc.) and DP2-AOU properly.
Turn OFF the main switches of the
control box for microscope (BX3-CBH,
etc.) and DP2-AOU. Then, turn ON in the

order of
Control box for microscope
(BX3-CBH, etc.) and
2
DP2-AOU.
Specify the magnification of the
objective in use.
When turning OFF the main switch, do
not long-press the main switch. You can
turn OFF the power by pressing the main
switch lightly.
Connect the USB devices to the
connectors properly.
Install the device driver according to the
instruction manual provided with the
USB device.
Connect the LAN cable to the connector
properly.
Consult the network administrator
and set the network according to your
connection environment.
