The RATE display field shows the time
required for treating one centimeter of the
vein.
This serves as a time limit for retraction of
the VENEX fiber. Retraction during
treatment is controlled by the cm-lines on
the fiber or catheter. A brief audio signal is
sounded when one centimeter has been
treated.
The black bar visually demonstrates the
retraction of the fiber.
An audio signal is sounded when the bar
disappears on the left and reappears on the
right.
Pulse mode
•
Pulsed mode is a repeating, intermittent
laser operation. While the foot switch is
engaged, the laser device emits the defined
laser output during the pulse time and no
output during the pulse pause.
The resulting average output is shown in the
lower display area.
