Rotary Knob with Ring Light
All settings on the device are adjusted using the rotary knob (6). The rotary knob can be
turned and pressed. It is inactive after switching on the device and can be activated by
pressing it. To show what setting can currently be adjusted using the rotary knob, the rotary
knob has a light ring that can have four different colors:

Off (light ring dark)
Rotary knob inactive. This is the normal mode after switching on
the device. After stopping the operation of the device for a longer
period, it automatically switches into this mode (menu timeout).
This mode can be reached by selecting BACK (see section 5.1.6
"Display", page 34) – or directly by pressing the key
LASER READY.
Pressing activates the rotary knob and switches the laser into
STANDBY mode (not ready) – unless the foot switch is activated.
White
Rotary knob active.
Parameter fields can be selected.
By turning, a parameter field or menu item (see section 5.1.6
"Display", page 34) is highlighted and can be selected by pressing
the rotary knob.
Orange
Laser parameter active.
Parameter value can be changed.
The laser parameter now has an orange background in the
display. The laser parameter can be changed by turning the rotary
knob.
The modified parameter value is confirmed by pressing the rotary
knob or will be applied automatically after the modification
timeout.
Blue
Device parameter active.
Device settings can be changed.
The device parameter can be changed by turning the rotary knob.
The modified parameter value is confirmed by pressing the rotary
knob or will be applied automatically after the modification
timeout.
