Laser Surgical Unit diomax
CAUTION
Possible danger to the patient in case of connection of the door interlock!
Connecting the door contact is not recommended. Opening the door may in this case result in
unforeseeable interruption of the treatment and thus in a dangerous situation for the patient!
Therefore, the corresponding contacts are bypassed via the interlock connector of the
manufacturer when the device is delivered.
NOTICE
The device cannot be activated without the interlock connector (supplied with bypass).

Door interlock
If a door contact switch is connected to this contact (1),
the device will stop the laser emission immediately when
the door is opened.
The message INT_LOCK ERROR appears on the display.
The interlock connector that is supplied with the laser
surgery device may be used. To this end, remove the
bypass in the interlock connector and replace it with the
door interlock cable.
Solder side of the 7-pin plug Interlock/Warning with bypass.
Clearing the INT_LOCK ERROR message
Close door.
•
Press the STANDBY key (1).
•
Press the LASER READY key (2).
•
— The laser treatment can be continued.

Functions of the red interlock connector:
— When the operating room door is opened, the
device does not switch to STANDBY mode.
— The laser treatment can be continued without
interruption.
