TEST

When TEST is executed, one complete scan is performed on the harness under test. If the
scanned configuration compares exactly with the wire list program in working memory, the test
is successful and the display will show "Passed 0001/0001." The first number after Passed
represents the number of tests that have passed. The second number represents the total number
of tests that have been run. These numbers are reset when a program is loaded or when a Learn
Known Good is run. If an error is encountered, the points in error are displayed, along with an
indication of O for open or S for short. If a printer is connected, and it is desirable to record
errors, use ERROR LIST instead of or after this procedure. A complete Test procedure is
provided below. Once familiarized, however, the user may refer to Figure 5. To select and use
TEST, proceed as follows:

Load program to be used (refer to "Loading a Program"). The Passed/Tested counter is
reset to 0000/0000.
2.
Install harness to be tested.
3.
Press TEST key; TESTING will be displayed, and one complete scan will be made.

If test passes, the following will be displayed:

An O for open or S for short, with the From/To points will be displayed when an error is
encountered. An open between test point 3 and 12 will be displayed as follows:
If User Labels have been assigned, the points will be replaced with the labels as shown
below:

To continue test beyond the failed points, press TEST again, and testing will resume.
7.
If test has one or more failures, the following will be displayed at the end of test:
Where 0000 represents the number of tests that passed and 0001 represents the
total number of tests performed. Both numbers are reset when a wire list program
is loaded or the learn function is run.
