Average Glucose: The average of all the sensor readings
in the selected date range.
GMI: (Glucose Management Indicator) Approximates your
A1C level based on your average glucose from at least
12 days of CGM data.
Time in Range: Shows the percentage of time that glucose
levels are in Low, Target, and High Ranges. The following
are recommended ranges from an international consensus:
Target Range: 3.9–10.0 mmol/L

Very High: Above 14.0 mmol/L

Very Low: Below 3.0 mmol/L

Where can you place the sensor

You can place the Dexcom G7 sensor on:
- The back of the upper arm
- The abdomen (not for pregnant women)
- The upper buttocks (for ages 2-6 years only)

Ensure the site is at least 3 inches (8 cm) from any insulin pump infusion set or injection site, away from waistbands, scarring, tattoos, irritation, and bones, and in a spot unlikely to be bumped, pushed, or laid on while sleeping.
