Troubles and solutions

Problem
The UPS will not
turn on.
Yellow LED is
flashing and
the alarm beeps
intermittently while
connected to the
utility power.
UPS shuts down
after a few seconds
and the circuit
breaker is protected.
Inadequate runtime.

Possible Cause
Battery is
disconnected or
utility power is
not available.
UPS is not
connected
properly to the
utility power.
Line breaker
protected.
UPS output is
shortcircuited,
possibly due
to defective
computer.
Battery is not
fully charged.
Battery is near
the end of life.
Solutions
Connect the battery and
ensure power is available
at the wall outlet.
Connect the UPS
according to the
installation guide.
Press the breaker.
Disconnect your computer
from the UPS and then
press the breaker.
Charge the unit for at least
4 hours.
As a battery ages, the a
