The "Settings - Reader Interface" menu item
With the "Settings - Reader interface" menu item, the interface parameters of up to two
readers can be read. If the communication module is connected to an S7 controller, the
configurations are made via the controller. The parameters in the "Reader parameters" area
are not displayed in this case.

Performing reader parameter assignment with connected reader
Note that reader parameters can only be assigned without errors if the reader in question is
connected to the communications module during the parameter assignment. If the reader is
only connected after the parameter assignment, this may have the result that the reader is
not displayed correctly.
