SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using your vacuum, basic safety pre-
cautions should always be observed, includ-
ing the following:
1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corre-
sponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the
appliance.
2. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Do not use vacuum
cleaner if it has been dropped or damaged, left outdoor or
dropped into water. Return appliance to a SINGER ser-
vice center for examination repair or adjustment.
3. Do not use the machine without dust bag and fi lters prop-
erly fi tted.
4. Do not leave vacuum cleaner unattended when it is
plugged in.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before pulling fi l-
ters out.
6. To avoid the risk of electric shock-do not use outdoors or
on wet surfaces.
7. Do not allow children to use as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when used near children.
8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufac-
turer's recommended attachments.
9. Do not pull or carry by cord. Do not use the cord as a
handle. Do not close a door on cord or pull cord around
sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord.
Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
10. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug, not the cord.
