SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using your vacuum, basic safety precautions should
always be observed, including the following:
1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds
to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
2. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Do not use vacuum
cleaner if it has been dropped or damaged, left outdoor or
dropped into water. Return appliance to a SINGER service
center for examination repair or adjustment.
3. Do not use the machine without dust bag and fi lters properly
fi tted.
4. Do not leave vacuum cleaner unattended when it is plugged in.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before pulling fi lters out.
6. To avoid the risk of electric shock-do not use outdoors or on
wet surfaces.
7. Do not allow children to use as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when used near children.
8. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's
recommended attachments.
9. Do not pull or carry by cord. Do not use the cord as a handle.
Do not close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges
or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away
from heated surfaces.
10. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug,
not the cord.
11. Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
12. Do not put any objects into air openings. Do not use with
any air openings blocked and do not restrict airfl ow. Keep
all openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may
reduce airfl ow.
13. Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails,
screws, coins, etc.
