Removal and installation of
parking brake assembly

Removal
k
Stop the machine on a level ground and set
the lock bar to the frame to fix the front and
rear frames.
k
Lower the work equipment to the ground,
stop the engine, apply the parking brake,
and put chocks under the tires.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (–)
terminal of the battery.
1. Drain the transfer oil.

Transfer case: Approx. 5 l
2. Remove rear drive shaft (1).

3. Turn parking brake lever (2) OFF.

4. Pull out the cotter pin and remove pin (3) to
disconnect parking brake cable (4).

5. Disconnect suction hose (5) of transfer lubri-
cating oil pump.

6. Remove the parking brake mounting bolts.
Using tool D8, remove parking brake assembly
(6).
