Apply 12 VDC power to the modem (this can be supplied from the terminal block in the main panel). The
cable with the white stripe corresponds to the positive terminal.
2. Route a CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable from the modem into the VRI panel.
•
One end of the cable plugs into the modem's RJ45 socket.
•
One end of the cable plugs into the RJ45 socket on the side of the VRI touch-screen.
3. Ensure the VRI controller is using the latest software version. The latest version can be downloaded at http://
www.growsmartvri.com/en/pages/downloads.
4. Contact Lindsay-NZ at 06 212 0550.
•
Check the VRI is reporting to the website correctly.
•
Set up the customer's FieldMAP Online Account.
When checking the modem's connectivity, refer to this chart to determine the current modem state.
