It's important when installing the cables to keep them clear of any sharp edges or moving components so as not to
damage the cables. Cables should be tied down tightly at 4 foot (1.2 meters), or less, intervals. Any excess cabling
should be bundled neatly out of the way of moving components and tied to the irrigation span cable.
Make a final check that all cable glands are tightened properly.
CAUTION: Do not reverse the polarity of the 24VDC supply.
Node Wiring for Most Locations (See Appendix A for Australia and New Zealand Wiring)
The node assemblies are factory wired. Only the 24VDC power connection needs to be wired at installation.
(Refer to the Standard Node Wiring Diagram below)
Note: Use shielded cable that is properly grounded for all external connections.
The red wire connects to the +24V terminal and the black wire connects to the ground terminal (GND).
Note: The black wire should never be connected to the irrigation system ground.
The valve plugs have been pre-wired and only need to be plugged onto the correct valve and to the correct posi-
tion on the Node board. Node boards installed prior to March 2015 (P/N's 1500000, 1605633 and 1605847) must
be replaced with PCB Node Kit 1609494 (shown below.)
