BACKGROUND
Antimasking: protective function which detects an unwanted object nearby the laser window masking the vision
field. Background: reference point in the detection field of the sensor. If no background is present, switch to off.

REOPEN side: During the opening cycle, the sensor always extends the safety depth up to 4
curtains to cover the whole door pathway.

AUTO - The Flatscan, when operating, is
• in dynamic operation when using two interconnected modules
• in static operation when using a single module
In dynamic operation, the Flatscan dynamically adapts its detection fields according to the door
position to fit the environment. An expanded field and wall masking are possible.
In static operation, the detection field remains unchanged regardless of the door position. If opening
against a wall, the door controller must be set accordingly to ignore it.
STATIC - This mode can be chosen to force static operation.
MAN. - This mode is used for manually operated automatic doors. The Flatscan is in dynamic operation
and the reopening and opening signals are set on the hinge zone while the door is closing. Two modules
must be interconnected to use this mode.
Always enter 3 digits for output parameters:
- 1st digit refers to the Output 1 (R1)
- 2nd digit refers to the Output 2 (R2)
- 3rd digit refers to the Output 3 (R3).
