Component parts are stocked by Commodore if they are custom, proprietary or difficult to obtain in
the field. Those common components that are available from many sources are considered GENERIC
and are best obtained from your local parts distributor. Often critical parameters may vary between
manufacturers and will affect the performance of a product. It is strongly RECOMMENDED that you
use only parts from vendors that have been qualified and APPROVED by Commodore for use in our prod­
ucts. If you have a board with ORIGINAL parts and the vendor is not listed as approved, you may assume
that the vendor was approved after this printing and also may be used as a replacement part.
