PROPOSITION 65 WARNING
Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories
contain lead and lead compounds, chemicals known to
the state of California to cause cancer and reproductive
harm. Wash hands after handling. Battery electrolyte is
poisonous. It contains acid!
Serious burns can result from contact with the skin,
eyes, or clothing
ANTIDOTE:
EXTERNAL: flush with water.
INTERNAL: drink large quantities of water or milk;
follow with milk of magnesia, beaten egg, or vegetable
oil; and, call a physician immediately.
EYES: flush with water for 15 minutes and get prompt
medical attention.
Batteries produce explosive gases; keep sparks, flame,
cigarettes, etc. away; ventilate when charging or using
in a closed space; and always shield eyes when
working near batteries.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
WARNING
SHOCK HAZARD
Always disconnect the battery prior to servicing engine
and electrical system.
Electrical and ignition systems operate at high voltages.
When disconnecting the battery, remove the negative
(-) black cable first, and then remove the positive (+)
red cable. Reverse steps when connecting battery.
