TWO PIECE THROTTLE CONTROL
REMOVAL
NOTICE
Some models are equipped with a two-piece throttle
control on the handlebar. The two-piece throttle control
is designed to be serviced without having to remove the
grip and hand warmer element.
1. Use a needle-nose pliers to extract the throttle cable
barrel out of the throttle lever.
2. Loosen the throttle block set screw

4. Remove the throttle lever
from the clip on the throttle block.
NOTICE
The throttle lever will just be moved to the side as the
wiring is part of the handlebar wiring harness.

5. Remove the screw
block. Remove or reposition the stop switch assembly

to gain access the cover screws.
NOTICE
The auxiliary stop switch block will just be moved to the
side as the wiring is part of the handlebar wiring
harness.
