AUTO operation.

AUTO mode offers two options for starting a pilot arc.
1) From power source WIN TIG if interfaced with a robot or CNC (*)
2) From connector CN3 of the PW30 unit (see section 4.4.3).
Operation of CN3 depends on the status of the parameters shown in the table:
Operating modes
Auto (L3 on)
OFF (L2 on).
NOTE
The interface with the robot is active (Robot function ON) it is also possible to issue the pilot arc start command from
CN3.

Analog Inputs

The operation of analog input ANALOG IN1 is dependent on the position of dip switch SW2-3 on panel board pos.15
of console PW30;
The operation of analog input ANALOG IN2 is dependent on the position of dip switch SW2-4 on panel board pos.15
of console PW30;
The factory setting of dip switches SW2-3 and SW2-4 is OFF.
If the WIN TIG power source is interfaced with a robot, the analog setpoints from the robot take priority over analog
inputs AN1 and AN2 of CN3. If the robot does not manage these analog signals (enablement bit on bus inactive), the
CN3 inputs return to operation but are dependent on the position of the relevant dip switches in all cases.
