Selecting operating modes.

The PW30 console can start a pilot arc in two different modes, MANUAL or AUTO.
Both operating modes can be selected from the panel of the PW30 unit and from the TIG power source.
The first time the power source is turned on, it is set to MANUAL, represented by pushbutton
MENU -> Accessories -> Automatic Pilot Arc = OFF
To set AUTO mode, proceed as follows:

From standby (L2 on), press T1 for under 2s to set the console to Automatic mode (L3 on).

MANUAL operation.

In this operating mode, the pilot arc start and process parameter set point adjustment controls are issued manually by
adjusting the relevant parameters on the TIG power source or on gas console PW30. Jobs can be used in this mode.
To start in MANUAL mode hold down key T1 on plasma console PW30 for a few seconds.
The entire sequence is indicated by L1 flashing (L2 off).
If the pilot arc does not start within 5s, the gas console returns to standby mode (L1 off, L2 on). To re-start the arc, repeat
the starting sequence by pressing key T1 again.
If the pilot arc starts (L1 on with a fixed light), the console operates to keep the pilot arc on, manages gas flow according
to the set parameters and checks that the torch coolant flow is within set parameters.
Under these conditions, start the plasma welding process by controlling the TIG welding power source separately, pro-
viding the start control from the front 10-way connector on the power source.
To turn off the pilot arc and exit Manual mode, press T1 for under 2s (L1 off, L2 on).
