Adjusting Blade
Guard Extension
The blade guard extension provides support for
the left blade guard. When the left blade guide
is adjusted to the right, the left blade guard is
extended from under the blade cover to cover
the exposed blade. Adjust the blade guard exten-
sion so the left blade guard is as supported as
possible.
Tool Needed
Hex Wrench 4mm .............................................. 1
To adjust blade guard extension:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Open wheel cover by removing (4) button
head cap screws (see Figure 40).

3. Loosen (2) button head cap screws shown in
Figure 41.
4. Adjust blade guard extension until left blade
guard is supported, then tighten screws from
Step 3 to secure (see Figure 41).
