Identify the drives power connections and control card terminals
Program the necessary drive parameters for basic open loop control
Learn to identify and wire the electrical & I/O connections to the VLT Aqua Drive
Use the drives data readouts to verify that the hardware is working correctly
Upload a working set of parameters to the LCP
Before power up, you need to verify that all of your power wiring is correct in order to avoid
damage to the drive. Position the drive so that you can see the power connections. Take a
minute to answer the following questions. You can refer to your documentation if necessary.
Which terminals should the input voltage be connected to?
Which terminals should the motor be connected to?
Write down the terminal numbers for relay # 1
Write down the terminal numbers for relay # 2
Stand the demo unit back on its feet and carefully remove the control card terminal cover.
Match up the control card terminal blocks with the correct letter.

Which 2 terminals are the + 24 volt supply?
Which Terminal is the + 10 volt supply?
