There are 12 parameters in the quick menu. You can use the up and down arrow
keys to scroll through the following parameters. Using the motor nameplate data,
enter parameters 1-20 through 1-25 in ascending order. Set the remaining quick
menu parameters to the values shown in the list.
0-01 - Language
0-02 - Motor Speed Unit (Set to Hz)
1-21 - Motor Power
1-22 - Motor Voltage
1-23 - Motor Frequency
1-24 - Motor Current
1-25 - Motor Nominal Speed
3-41 - Ramp 1 Ramp Up Time - 10s
(based on motor nameplate speed)
3-42 - Ramp 1 Ramp Down Time - 10s
(based on motor nameplate speed)
4-12 - Motor Speed Low Limit - 20 Hz
4-14 - Motor Speed High Limit - 60 Hz
1-29 - Automatic Motor Adaptation - Choose "Enable complete "AMA" and then
press the "Hand On" key to start the process.
Note that any of these parameters can be accessed through the drives "Main Menu" as
well.

Verifying Operation

Pressing the "Hand On" key starts the drive. The bottom line (status line) of the
display should read "Hand Local Running". This means that the drive is running,
but not at the commanded reference speed. This is because the drive is being
commanded to run at 0 Hz locally, but the drive will is running at 20 Hz because
of the programmed low speed limit. A different message will appear when the
actual speed matched the commanded speed. The low speed limit (parameter 4-
12) limits the minimum motor speed to protect pumps from running below the
manufacturers minimum recommended speed.
Use the arrow keys to enter a reference of something greater than 20 Hz into the
display. This will be the "local reference" speed that you want the drive to run at.
You should notice that the drive will ramp up to that speed following the
programmed ramp time that you entered in parameter 3-41. Notice the bottom
line of the display while this is happening. It will change from "Ramping" to
"Running on Ref" once it reaches the commanded speed.
Press the "Off" key on the LCP and you should notice the drive ramp down to a
stop following the ramp down time that you set in parameter 3-42. The status line
should now read "Off Local Stop" indicating that the off key was pressed and the
drive is in the "stop" condition.
