When you start working with the CVB module, always check the
information displayed by this command. Compare it with reference
information provided in customer/project/ fleet-specific software release
notes.
Check the hardware version and modification information from the module
labels. For details refer to 2.4: Module identification and modification

SYNTAX
ver
EXPLANATION
Use this command to display a list of software identification details.
The following information is displayed:
Module name
Baseline version
Project options
Module FPGA
Module S/N
44
Module ID. For instance, CVB1621A. The first part for all CVB modules
is always CVB. However, the number following the CVB prefix varies
according to the options assembled. It might also be only CVB.
For instance B015. This is the version number of the firmware baseline.
The baseline version includes all the required standard functions of the
CVB module.
For instance P0000.010. This number tells whether the firmware is a
pure baseline version, or if there are project specific modifications.
Number 0000 will be replaced by the project number if the version
deviates from the pure baseline. The last three digits define the version
of the project options.
The version of the FPGA content is equally important for the module
functionality as the firmware version.
