The Administration Page

Each of the administrative functions is represented by an icon at the left of the
page. Clicking the icon brings up its associated dialog box. When the
Administration page first comes up the General page is displayed:
Note: This page is not available for users who don't have administration
permission.

General Information

The General Information page presents three items of information. This is the
same information that displays after you log in from a browser, or when you
click the General Information icon at the top left of the browser main page. The
meaning of these items is described in the table, below:

MAC Address
Firmware Ver
IPV4 Address
IPV6 Address
This field lets you give the switch a unique name. This can be
convenient when you need to differentiate among several devices
in multi station installations. Click in the field to key in the name.
This item displays the KN9008 / KN9016's MAC address.
This item displays the current firmware version number. You can
reference it to see if there are newer versions available on the
Altusen website.
This item displays the KN9008 / KN9016's Internet Protocol
Version 4 (32 bit) address (in the legacy format).
Displays the KN9008 / KN9016's Internet Protocol Version 6 (128
bit) address (in the new format). See IPv6, page 147 for details.
