Auto Scan Mode

When Auto Scan Mode is invoked, the KN9008 / KN9016 automatically
switches among all the ports that are accessible to the currently logged on user
at regular intervals, so that the user can monitor their activity automatically.
(See Scan Select, page 96, for information regarding accessible ports.)
While Auto Scan Mode is in effect, ordinary keyboard and mouse functions are
suspended. You must exit Auto Scan Mode in order to regain normal control
of the keyboard.
Under Auto Scan Mode, the normal toolbar is replaced by one that looks
similar to the one below:
The meanings of the toolbar icons are explained in the table below:

Click to pause (temporarily stop) auto scanning. When auto scan is
paused the icon changes to an arrowhead. Click the arrowhead to
resume scanning from the point where you stopped.
Click to exit Auto Scan Mode. The KVM focus stays on the port that
had the focus when Auto Scan Mode was stopped.
Indicates the Port ID ([Station Number - Port Number]) of the port
that currently has the KVM focus.
