Problem
You have connected an external monitor
and it does not come on.
Zip Drive Problems
Notebook fails to recognize Zip drive.
T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
Possible Cause
1. Your BIOS setup is not set to enable your
external monitor.
2. Your external monitor is not
properly installed.
3. Your operating system software is not setup
with the correct software driver for that device.
4. Your external monitor is not compatible
with your notebook.
1. Security is set to p rotect access to Zip
disk data.
2. Zip disk is not properly inserted in drive .
3. The Zip disk is not properly formatted.

Possible Solution
1. Try toggling the video destination by
pressing Fn and F10 together or check your
BIOS setup and enable your external moni-
tor. (See the Video Features Submenu of the
Advanced Menu on pages 75-76.)
2. Reinstall your device.
