Incorrect connection of the power supply could result in serious
damage to the motherboard and connected peripherals. Make sure
the power supply is unplugged from the AC outlet before connecting
the leads from power supply.
Make certain that you do not miss any pins because if you do, you
will void your warranty and cause damage to yourself or your
mohterboard when you trun the system on. After connecting the
power, make sure the connector is seated firmly into its socket so it
will not become loose or fall off when the system is jostled or moved.
Connecting PS/2, USB, Serial, Parallel, VGA and Audio-MIDI Devices
After you have installed the motherboard, make the connections to the external
ports. The motherboard rear I/O panel provides external access to PS/2 style keyboard
and mouse port, two USB ports, a parallel port, a serial port, a VGA display port, a
game/MIDI port and three audio jacks, which are integrated on the motherboard
and PC99 compliant.
When plugging in your keyboard and mouse, or when plugging
anything into devices port, make sure the power is off. Connecting
these devices and ports while the power is on is called "hot plugging"
and may damage your system and devices.
Follow the instruction carefully to properly connecting I/O peripherals to your system.
