 Sound from an external FX unit is distorted.
• Make sure the volume for the external FX unit is set properly.
 The tempo (BPM) of a track cannot be measured.
The measured BPM is wrong.
• Adjust the [TRIM] knob so the channel level indicator lights up with the peak level at around
[0] dB.
• Tempo (BPM) cannot be measured for some tracks. Use the [TAP] button to manually set
the tempo for those tracks.
 The measured tempo (BPM) differs from the value on the CD.
• The values do not match when BPM measuring methods are different.
MIDI
 You cannot control a MIDI device with the unit.
• Press the [MIDI ON] button to turn on MIDI.
• Assign this unit's MIDI messages to the software. For details on assignment, refer to the
instruction manual for the software.
Connections
 The unit is not recognized by the connected PC/Mac.
The USB indicator is turned off or blinking.
• Install the dedicated audio driver software on the PC/Mac. If the software is already
installed, reinstall it.
 Sound from the connected PC/Mac is not outputting from the
unit.
• Make sure the PC/Mac is connected properly (do not use a USB hub – connect directly to
the unit).
• Select this unit in the audio output device settings in the software. For details, refer to the
instruction manual for the software.
