12 Removal
The work described in this section is only to
be performed by personnel appropriately
qualified to carry out such tasks.

Risk of fatal injury due to electric shock.
Î Before disconnecting the wires at the
actuator, switch off the supply voltage
and protect it against unintentional
reconnection.
DANGER

Risk of bursting in control valve compo-
nents due to incorrect opening.
Î Before starting any work on the control
valve, depressurize all plant sections
affected as well as the valve.
Î Drain the process medium from all the
plant sections affected.
Î Wear recommended personal protective
equipment (see associated valve docu-
mentation).
1. Disconnect the connecting lines.
2. Undo the coupling nut and remove the
actuator from the valve connection (see
Fig. 12-1).
