FRONT AND REAR BRAKES
6. Lubricate:
D retaining bolts 1
CAUTION:
D Do not allow grease to contact the brake
pads.
D Remove any excess grease.
7. Install:
D brake caliper
D retaining bolt
8. Check:
D brake fluid level
Below the minimum level mark a  Add the
recommended brake fluid to the proper level.
Refer to "CHECKING THE BRAKE FLUID
LEVEL" in chapter 3.
9. Check:
D brake lever operation
Soft or spongy feeling  Bleed the brake
system.
Refer to "BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC
BRAKE SYSTEM" in chapter 3.
