Appendix B. Example of SIP Setting

B1. Direct Connection

Setting the SIP direct connection using the MicroSIP application is given for example. In
case of using other applications the setting is done in a similar way.
ATTENTION!
It is necessary to provide a connection channel between the devices (door station and PC with the
application) for the direct connection. Pay attention that the Port 5060 is only used for establishing
connection, but data are transferred via RTP (the range of port numbers by default is 1024-65535). The
devices need be accessible via these ports for correct SIP operation.
Install and run MicroSIP. The application window is given below:
Go to the door station web interface menu for setting SIP connection.
You only need specify the following parameters for the SIP direct connection:
Enable SIP #1: put a tick to enable a SIP option.
Number: enter the door station IP address.
Call recipient #1: enter the IP address of the device which will receive the call (for
example, PC).
To apply new settings click [Save].
If the settings are correct then you will see the following window after pressing the call
button of a door station:
