10.1. Motion Detection
The "Motion Detection Setting" menu is shown on the Picture 10.1.
This menu allows you to set motion detection parameters and conditions of sending files and
notifications on motion detection triggering.
[Set motion area]: press this button to set the motion detection area. Press and hold the left
mouse framing the area of the necessary size. You can set up to the 4 areas.
[Full screen]: set the motion detection area at full image size.
[Clear]: remove all the areas.
Sensitivity: set motion detection sensitivity. 5 levels are available: the bigger the number, the
more sensitive the detection.
Enable: enable / disable the motion detection function.
Time 1/2: set motion detection operation by schedule. You can set 2 operating time periods.
E-mail: tick off this option to activate sending e-mail notifications on motion detection
triggering.
Snapshot: tick off this option to activate snapshotting on motion detection triggering. You can
specify an amount of the snaps need be made in the field to the right.
Snap interval: set the snapshotting time interval; it can be specified with a decimal number,
for example: 0.5 s, 1.5 s, etc.
E-mail / FTP: you can set E-mail and/or FTP server as a destination for sending the
snapshots. The snapshots will not be recorded if nothing is set.
Record: tick off this option to activate recording video files on motion detection triggering.
Record time: set a necessary duration of the video files.
