2.4.2 DISPOSAL OF ASHES

Ashes should be placed in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid. The closed container of ashes should be placed on a noncombustible
floor or on the ground, well away from all combustible materials, pending final disposal. If the ashes are disposed of by burial in soil or
otherwise locally dispersed, they should be retained in the closed container until all cinders have thoroughly cooled.

2.5 FIRE SAFETY

WARNING
DURING COMBUSTION, THERMAL ENERGY IS RELEASED WHICH LEADS TO CONSIDERABLE HEATING OF THE SURFACES,
DOORS, HANDLES, CONTROLS, GLASS PARTS, THE FLUE GAS PIPE AND POSSIBLY THE FRONT PART OF THE APPLIANCE..
AVOID CONTACT WITH THESE ELEMENTS UNLESS USING SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING OR ACCESSORIES.
ENSURE CHILDREN ARE AWARE OF THESE DANGERS AND KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE FURNACE WHEN IT IS ON.

2.5.1 NOTES FOR PROPER OPERATION

This appliance shall be operated exclusively with the ash drawer inserted. The fueling and ash removal door(s) must remain closed
when in operation.
The solid combustion residues (ash) must be collected in a sealed, fire resistant container.
The Product must never be on in the presence of gaseous emissions or vapours (for example glue for linoleum, petrol etc.).
Never deposit flammable materials near the Product.

2.5.2 IN A EMERGENCY

In case of fire in the flue connection :
a) Close the loading door and the ash drawer door
b) Close the comburent air registers
c) Use carbon dioxide ( CO
powder ) extinguishers to put out the fire

d) Request the immediate intervention of the Fire Brigade
WARNING
DO NOT PUT OUT THE FIRE WITH WATER.
WHEN THE CHIMNEY FLUE STOPS BURNING, HAVE IT CHECKED BY A SPECIALIST TO IDENTIFY ANY CRACKS OR
PERMEABLE POINTS.
