Removing the Kohler engine
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Loosen the battery's retaining strap.
Remove the protective cover.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Hold the battery cable bolts in place so that
the electrodes are not strained.
3. Loosen the battery cable connections.
Then lift out the battery.
4. Remove the cable connecting the starter
relay to the starter from the starter.
5. Remove the engine's electrical
connections.
6. Remove the clip holding the throttle and
choke cable. Unhook the cable by the
mounting on the carburettor.
